Authentication Data

When you sign in, we process the following data: your email address, one-time verification codes, your IP address, and browser information. This data is required to authenticate you and to protect your account from unauthorized access.

The processing is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract) — authentication is necessary to provide you with access to the services you use.

Verification codes are automatically deleted after 10 minutes. Session data is stored for up to 30 days or until you sign out. Server logs are retained for 30 days.

Cookies

This service uses two strictly necessary cookies: a session cookie that identifies your authenticated session, and a browser session cookie that remembers your signed-in accounts on this device. These cookies are essential for the authentication service to function and do not require consent under TTDSG §25(2).

Legal basis: TTDSG §25(2) — these cookies are strictly necessary for the service you explicitly requested.

The session cookie expires on sign-out or after 30 days of inactivity. The browser session cookie expires when you use "Sign out of all accounts".
